simply nesting saturday: v. V
warmth needed!!
this saturday's simply nesting post will be brief because of two reasons:
1.) the nest is cold and I so want a beautiful throw blanket
2.) I must primp for date night, silly...
okay, so as I type this post I am sitting in the world's most comfy chair, sippy some english breakfast tea... and I was so chilly, I grabbed a tan, completely worn blanket out of the armoire. and it hit me, we do not have beautiful throw blankets in this nest! I want, at least, one beautiful throw blanket. besides being so chilly in this drafty, old house, I am trying to decorate with some resemblance of style. granted our sofa has seen better days and has turned into claire's bed and the nebulizer station, so there will be no beautiful throw blanket draped so gently on the back of that piece of poo. but I do have my comfy chair and the beautiful bargain, lion's foot chair from the anthropologie sample auction! which are both screaming for a beautiful throw...
what do you think of these...
from anthro, the interlochen throw -- wondering if my bub would get his 40% off throws???
hmmm -- how about a little faux fur? probably not...
okay, I could definitely snuggle with this basketweave natural cashmere throw. oh, there is only one thing holding me back... it's over $400 -- WHAT!!!
clearly, I need to take some time and look for the perfect beautiful throw for my nest.

My best piece of advice is, don't get one with fringe unless you enjoy not being able to use your blanket until the next time you can do dry cleaning. Every throw I own that has fringe... is knotted all to heck. They don't like washing machines AT ALL!
And.. $400 throw? I thought you meant $40 and you had a little typo. That's insane!
